We take pride in the fact that we can offer this service to our veterans. We can take almost any photo or item that you send us and place it in your custom certificate. You and your family will have a personal and vivid display of the service that was rendered in the defense of our country. You have the option of deciding the number of photos and what awards to be displayed with them. We can use a large group photo showing a specific unit or various “snapshots” of your time in service.
In order to use your photos you must send them to us. Here is what we recommend:
1. Write your name on the back of each photo, pencil is the best because it does not damage the print.
2. Place a note card in a ziplock bag with your name, address and phone number.
3. Put the photos into the ziplock and seal it.
4. Place the bag with the photos into an envelope along with a note of how you would like the photos arranged.
5. Send it to: Yourmilitaryhistory c/o C. Malloch 629 Germander Ct Greer, SC 29651
The items will be scanned and mailed back to you one or two days after we receive them. Depending on the condition of the photos, there may an additional charge if color correction, repair of tears and wrinkles, or water damage is required. You will normally receive your photos back before you get your certificate due to the printing process. Every effort will be made to ensure that your items are returned back to you in the original condition.
Your history is very important to us!
We do accept scans of your items and photos. They should be scanned at 250 dpi and saved as a jpeg. You can then send them to us on a CD. You may email us a single photo of no more of 2 mb. Any scans that are larger than this will be rejected by our server. (A high resolution scan of one photo can be well over 10 mb.) The volume of images that we deal with would overload our servers if all were sent through email. Also, in the past we have received many poor quality email attachments. These scans delay the creation of the certificates and the images have to be resent or scanned by us. The best way is to send the photos and items to us to scan, but your CD of high resolution images works almost as well. The most important thing is that we use high resolution images on your certificate because of the final print size. If the original image is of low quality, then the final print will be the same.
